About the KGH Foundation

The KGH Foundation is dedicated to enhancing health care in the Southern Interior of British Columbia. Through generous community support, the foundation has made significant strides in improving patient care and facilities. According to their 2023/24 Impact Report, the foundation has raised $182 million since 1999, with $18.79 million generated in the last year alone. These funds have been instrumental in supporting various initiatives, including equipment purchases, program support, and quality improvement projects. 

Impact Highlights

In the 2022/23 fiscal year, Kelowna General Hospital reported:

• 88,034 emergency room visits
• 1,682 total births
• 7,533 cancer cases
• 1,057 electrophysiology procedures since the program's inception in 2020

These statistics underscore the critical role that KGH plays in our community's health care.
